Process of NFT Creation: From Concept to Minting

Conceptualization: The journey of a TatakJuan NFT begins with a deep dive into Philippine culture and history, guided by our partnerships with LGUs, cultural institutions, and experts. Themes are selected based on cultural significance, potential for educational impact, and community relevance.

Content Development: Collaborating closely with historians, artists, and cultural practitioners, we ensure that each NFT's design accurately reflects the intended theme. This phase involves meticulous research, creative workshops, and iterative design processes to encapsulate the essence of the subject matter in digital form.

Digital Art Creation: Artists, leveraging insights from cultural experts, craft the visual elements of the NFT, infusing each piece with artistic integrity and cultural authenticity. This process may involve traditional art forms translated into digital media, ensuring a respectful and innovative representation of Philippine heritage.

Smart Contract Programming: With the art finalized, the technical team develops smart contracts using the ERC-721 or ERC-1155 standard on the Ethereum blockchain, depending on the NFT's intended uniqueness and utility. These contracts encode the rules for ownership, transfer, and, in some cases, interactive or educational features embedded within the NFT.

Minting: The NFT is then minted on the Ethereum blockchain, transforming the digital artwork and its associated smart contract into a unique, tradable asset secured by blockchain technology. This minting process is carefully timed and managed to optimize gas fees and ensure the NFT's proper registration on the network.

Verification and Listing: Before distribution, each NFT undergoes a verification process to ensure it meets the TatakJuan project's standards for quality, authenticity, and cultural sensitivity. Verified NFTs are then listed on selected NFT marketplaces and the TatakJuan platform, ready for acquisition by collectors and enthusiasts.
